Moon Rules
The Moon is an island of peace, calm, friendship, art and love. Set sail here for a free and happy life.
▶ Sanal Moon Rules
Sanal Moon is a next-generation digital world where members can own a digital space on the Moon's surface, explore, socialise, work, shop and have fun. To protect the peace and continuity of this world, the following rules apply. Everyone who becomes a member is deemed to have read, understood and accepted these rules in advance.
- 01Membership and ownership of a parcel, home or commercial space in Sanal Moon grants no physical property on the Moon; it only gives the right to experience that space digitally inside Sanal Moon.
- 02Fees paid for travel and digital experiences (Moon walks, swimming on the Moon, playing football, etc.) are to be regarded as game rights.
- 03In later phases, for broadcasts and purchases linked to Earth, each member is subject to the laws of the country they connect from. Someone using a Dutch bank branch on the Moon is really connected to their local branch; someone shopping at the Migros Moon store is shopping at the Migros online market in their own country; a football match watched in the Moon cinema follows the licences and pricing of the country of connection.
- 04Sanal Moon is governed by the Sanal Moon High Council, which works to grow an atmosphere of peace, calm, health, happiness, art, science and creativity.
- 05Each Earth month, 1–3 (or more when needed) referendums are held. Only Moon Members (MM) may vote.
- 06There is no discrimination by language, religion or race. Instead of provoking or dividing people over these differences, we are building a shared world where everyone lives equal, free and at peace. The High Council may prohibit any speech or action that upsets this balance.
- 07In Sanal Moon, faith lives in each person's heart; everyone's place of worship is their own home. Those wishing to worship together, of any faith, may rent a city conference hall or, for larger gatherings, the city stadium.
- 08Some services in Sanal Moon are paid (see the list below). The High Council may change any fee.
- 09When applying for membership you may optionally name 3 Earth citizens you would not want on the Moon. The 500 most-voted "persona non grata" people are not admitted to Sanal Moon.
- 10With no atmosphere, meteor showers are frequent on the Moon, and may happen in Sanal Moon too. If a meteor damages your parcel or virtual home, the High Council's insurance refunds your parcel fee and any home construction fee.
